Well, folks, its that time of year again! Summer, my absolute favorite season, has sadly come to an end. Picture this: I stumble into the kitchen at the crack of dawn, desperately in need of my morning coffee fix before tackling this update. And what do I notice? the air has definitely taken a turn for the cooler side. Its like Mother Nature is giving us a heads-up that its time to break out the cozy sweaters, indulge in pumpkin spiced everything, and for me, get ready to rock a thicker wetsuit (thank you Mamala Wetsuits) for my water adventures!

Summer of ’23 felt like the Summer of love and A. Jenks Imagery was there to capture it all! I had a whopping 11 elopements in Santa Barbara and Ventura, 7 weddings up and down the California coast. A few gorgeous beachside engagements and one sultry ocean couples session at Malibu’s El Matador State Beach. There was one incredible week capturing Ventura’s own surfing legend Mary Osborne’s Girls Surfari and Surf Camp. Countless lifestyle family sessions and as if that wasn’t enough, we even jetted off to Miami with The Friday People to capture all the glitz and glamour of Miami Swim Week! Talk about living the dream!

Now, as I sit here buried under a mountain of edits and start shifting gears towards the holiday season, all I can say is how incredibly excited I am about the future and how grateful I am for the career changing season I just experienced.

Despite the change in seasons, and temps, Fall and Winter are about to bring the heat! I’ve not got one, but TWO breathtaking weddings lined up in Santa Barbara over Thanksgiving. Can you imagine a more romantic way to celebrate the holiday? But that’s not all, my friends. I’ve also got a bunch of family sessions booked in the stunning locales of Ojai and Ventura. Get ready for some picture perfect moments (and don’t forget to schedule your own while there’s still bookings available).

But wait, there’s more! In October, I’m taking a little trip to Catalina Island to capture an elopement on the picturesque Steps Beach in Avalon. And guess what? I’ve teamed up with the fabulous Edgewater Hotel to create some jaw-dropping content for their stunning property. As a bonus, they’re hooking me up with a stay in their oceanfront suite! Talk about a win-win!

And last but not least, did I mention I’ll be collaborating with Mamala wetsuits? Towards the end of October, I’ll be capturing some of their incredible team riders in action. Picture me, rocking a cozy 4/3 Mamala wetsuit, right in the water, capturing all the epic moments of the Queen of the Point surf competition at Ventura Point. Its going to be a wild ride, I can feel it!
