I've mentioned before that I am a storyteller... I think sometimes we fall into the trap of believing our stories aren't worth telling, or feeling the need to embellish what exists prior to capturing it. We promise ourselves that we will capture our story when we lose weight, when a big event happens, or when our children reach a milestone.
We forget that there is beauty in what exists NOW. It is all we have in this moment. Take me for a walk around your neighborhood, or order a pizza and put some twinkly lights up in your living room... the small moments can be our most valuable... don't overthink it... just book and embrace the magic!

At this point you already know you are in good hands and every important detail of your special day will be documented for you by yours truly.
But did you also know I'll be there with tissues in hand for your happy tears? Just in case I have tide pen for that lipstick smudge. I carry a crochet hook for those pesky buttons... your nails look amazing, but geez its hard to put that necklace on... I got you girl! When you book your photographer, make sure its someone you vibe with... its an enormous responsibility.. and I am so honored to be there with you!

I am telling you right now, this is going to be FUN! Your comfort and enjoyment is a critical element to a successful shoot with images that you LOVE! Prior to our session together I will forward you a fun quiz for you and your partner to fill out over your favorite caffeinated (or alcoholic) beverage! We will meet for coffee (or wine) my treat, or via zoom, your choice. I want to get to know you and intimately understand what you are envisioning so that I can best support you in achieving the gallery of your dreams. By the time we show up for your session, we will be friends. Trusting your photographer and feeling a connection is critical to capturing the true essence of who you are and the unique details of your story.

Life is a beautiful, rapidly moving, ever changing adventure. Ferris Bueller perhaps said it best in his famous quote, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
As a mother to four children (one of which is already an adult at 20 years old), I am here to tell you that this statement is painfully accurate.
The most important thing is to capture the real moments. Not the overly staged, forced images. When you look at photos you want them to transport you to the moment, so let's make sure the moment is real, fun, and comfortable for all involved. I aim to create not just emotive images, but a memorable experience that you will reflect on fondly.

Absolutely! We can discuss your needs and desires for coverage of your special day or event on our discovery call. While I personally don't shoot video, I work with an incredible team of creatives who are excited to come along and create a breathtaking cinematic trailer of your happiest day!
Do you offer video packages?
I consider myself more of a visual storyteller. My style is very candid and in the moment. I aim to create an emotion forward, editorial piece of your wedding day. The final gallery will be very much influenced by the unique personalities and dynamics of each couple/family that I work with. Every wedding and couple is special and deserves a collaborative approach, combining my own style with the vibe of the couple.
How would you describe your style of photography?
60 miles of travel is included in my photography packages. Travel beyond the 60 mile radius will incur an additional fee to cover the cost of fuel (flights) and potentially accommodation. These additional costs will be discussed at time of booking. Purchasing in advance is typically more reasonable.
Is travel included in the session price?
I am a huge fan of delivering VALUE! I am going to capture a LOT of stunning, vibrant images, and I will hand over the full gallery. You should be the one to choose your favorites or download the entire thing!
How many images do you deliver in your galleries?
A deposit of 50% is required for all sessions at time of booking. Your deposit is non-refundable however it is transferrable subject to calendar availability. 1 week advanced notice is required with all session reschedules. Full payment is due prior to scheduled shoot.
Is my deposit refundable?
While A. Jenks imagery is based out of Ventura, California, we serve clients all around the world. Our destination wedding photography packages include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations. Because of our frequent trips to Sydney Australia, lower rates may apply depending on specific circumstances.
